Josh Duncan
Superintendent

Josh will be responsible for the daily on-site supervision of construction activities including scheduling of subcontractors, coordination with the building owners' staff, and the client's vendors and jurisdictional inspectors.  His most important role will be to oversee jobsite safety, quality control and adherence to the construction documents, while upholding necessary sequencing and phasing to maintain the project schedule. He will review and coordinate submittals with subcontractors and facilitate jobsite communications with on-site personnel to ensure the delivery of a high-quality project on time.

Experience

Josh began his career as a carpenter, working up to Foreman and managing interior projects throughout the D.C. Metro area.  He brings this hands-on experience to his role as Superintendent with R.W. Murray Co., specializing in the interior construction of projects in occupied office buildings.  Josh uniquely understands the importance of communication and coordination with the building staff and works diligently to mitigate the impact construction may have on current tenants and occupants of the building.  He is an innovative problem solver and is focused on delivering an exceptional finished product and exceeding client expectations.
