Intern

An internship is a great way to get your career started off in the right direction and can lead to long-term opportunities. By enrolling as an intern, you’ll be participating in a hands-on internship experience. You’ll be placed under full-time team members, helping to support the day-to-day operations of the Project Management team including both administrative and construction-related procedures. Throughout the duration of the internship, the candidate will familiarize themselves with the different aspects of the construction industry as well as the R.W. Murray Co. methodology. The candidate will also learn the history of R.W. Murray Co. and the corporate culture. Many of our current Project Managers began as Interns and are now a part of the R.W. Murray Co. team full-time. At the end of the Intern period, it is the intent that each successful candidate will be further offered an opportunity to continue a career with R.W. Murray Co.

Superintendent

The Construction Superintendent handles the timely completion of various types of projects including base buildings, tenant fit-outs, and building renovations. Superintendents work closely with the Project Management team from project start to project completion. Duties include supervision of labor and subcontractors, coordination, scheduling, purchasing, safety, quality control, and client relations. This position reports to the Project Executives and/or the CEO.

Project Manager

The Project Manager works with the entire team to facilitate the day-to-day field operation and coordination of their project(s). Project Managers are responsible for the following duties: estimating, preparation of bid proposals, client negotiations, material procurement, subcontract awards, scheduling, job coordination, cost controls, invoicing, quality control, preliminary design, and the management of punch list items. This position reports to the Vice President of Project Management and/or the Project Executives.
