The Peterson Companies selected R.W. Murray Co. to build Pier 1 Imports’ newest location in Prince William County, along with 12,675 SF of adjacent matching retail space.

These projects made up the first speculative component of Gateway Plaza, which is part of the very successful Virginia Gateway active lifestyle center.

The 10,500 SF Pier 1 Imports project included intricate exterior masonry and EIFS detailing while the interior consisted of ceramic floor tile, a false ceiling, custom millwork and extensive specialty accent lighting.

The time sensitive project was complicated by challenging winter weather, yet it was completed on schedule to the complete satisfaction of the end user.
