R.W. Murray Co. was selected by repeat client, The Peterson Companies, to complete the construction of Commonwealth Self Storage, an impressive new storage facility located in Ashburn, Virginia.  Neighboring the busy urban-inspired, mixed-use community of One Loudoun, Commonwealth Self Storage truly sits in the heart of Loudoun County.  The construction for this six-story, near 136,000 SF structure began with the 900-yard mat slab pour.  The scope of work also included building concrete perimeter walls, steel erection on all six levels, masonry veneer facade, EIFS towers, and an installation of break metal and storefronts. The facility holds 1,091 storage units in varied sizes.  Construction was completed within schedule, delivered in just under eleven months.  Like many of our other self storage builds, it is now managed by CubeSmart Self Storage.
