Josh is responsible for the daily on-site supervision of construction activities including scheduling of subcontractors, coordination with the building owners’ staff, and the Client’s vendors, and jurisdictional inspectors. His most important role is to oversee jobsite safety, quality control, and adherence to the construction documents, while upholding necessary sequencing and phasing to maintain the project schedule. He reviews and coordinates submittals with subcontractors and facilitates jobsite communications with the on-site personnel to ensure the delivery of a high-quality project on time.
Josh began his career as a carpenter working up to Foreman and managing interior projects throughout the D.C. Metro area. He brings his hands-on experience to his role as Superintendent with R.W. Murray Co., specializing in the interior construction of projects in occupied office buildings. Josh uniquely understands the importance of communication and coordination with the building staff and works diligently to mitigate the impact construction may have on current tenants and occupants of the building. He is an innovative problem solver and is focused on delivering an exceptional finished product while exceeding Client expectations.
