Description

R.W. Murray Co. was selected to complete the construction of the new 14,780 SF headquarters for the Dizzy Pig Barbecue Company in Manassas, Virginia. The pre-engineered metal building features architectural stone veneer, metal clad roofing and white oak timber-framed canopies. The interior consists of a 6,245 SF storage facility for the stock of supplies and seasonings, and a 2,500 SF production facility, where their spices and seasonings are manufactured. The owner of Dizzy Pig is an award-winning barbecue competitor who needed a larger space to develop new products for his events and to sell his proprietary spice mixes to the public. Customers can gather in the outdoor area under the timber canopies to watch the BBQ master at work demonstrating how the spice mixes are used.

The additional 6,034 SF belongs to the office and retail sales areas. They feature vibrant paint schemes on the walls and metal framing with smooth, polished concrete floors that are a great fit for the global headquarters of this fun company. The exterior provides ample parking as well as an event pad. The site has an alluring curb appeal due to a new landscaping package consisting of trees, shrubs and other various berms.
