It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of R.W. Murray Co.’s founder, Robert (Bob) W. Murray. Bob passed away on Sunday, April 21st.
The first thoughts of the management and employees of R.W. Murray Co. are with his wife, children and loved ones. Through his personal and professional values, Bob was cherished both as a man and a leader. He was an accomplished entrepreneur who built a company that still represents and practices the same principles he used to create it 60 years ago.
“I had the opportunity to meet and interact with Bob very early in my career. He was about as kind-hearted a man as you could find and was a very creative, out-of-the-box thinker,” states current R.W. Murray Co. President, Steve Daves. “The ethical principles and values that Bob ingrained in the organization remain at the forefront of how we do business today which stands as a true testament to his character.”
