Chuck is responsible for leading the firm’s efforts to expand our services in the tenant interior construction arena. In his role as Project Executive, he monitors and directs the project management team through interior projects, ensuring exceptional customer service. His duties include overseeing the estimating, contract negotiations, scheduling, budgeting and cost control, as well as quality control and business development efforts. He works closely with the entire team to facilitate the day-to-day field operation and coordination of each project and is also responsible for working with the project management team to facilitate the submittal process, including supervision of subcontract awards, punch list items and the preparation of bid proposals.
Chuck has more than 30 years of experience in the construction industry, with a strong background in project management and business development. During his career, he has held a variety of titles including Superintendent, Land Design Manager, Pre-construction Manager, Vice President of Construction and Vice President of Interiors. Before joining R.W. Murray Co., he most recently served as the Director of Business Development for a local construction company. He is an active partcipant, sitting as chairman or on the board, for many local trade organizations such as NAIOP, Associated Builders and Contractors, and Washington Building Congress. Chuck has managed a wide variety of projects in the D.C. Metropolitan area, specializing in tenant interior build-outs as well as laboratory and office construction.
