William D. Fairchild Recognized by Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) for Outstanding Contributions to the Construction Industry

Prince William County, Virginia ---May 4, 2009 --R.W. Murray Co. a privately-owned commercial general contracting firm, announced today the firm’s chairman, William D. Fairchild received the 2009  Myers-Lawson Award at Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University (Virginia Tech) for outstanding contributions to the construction industry. 

This award is presented by The Myers-Lawson School of Construction at their annual awards banquet which brings industry and academia together to celebrate the innovation and benefits of construction.   Students and industry leaders unite in celebration to recognize those individuals whom have made a commitment to the University, to the construction profession, and to the communities in which we live.
